Pirina Technologies Corp. was founded in 2004 to design and deliver solutions, based on plotting devices, that provide breakthrough value to customers. The first goal was to design a desktop cutting and creasing plotter and combine it with proper software to deliver a complete solution for packaging design and samplemaking. A solution specifically targeted at small packaging companies and design/advertising agencies who can not generally afford a big plotter and expensive Packaging CAD software. A solution that delivers breakthrough value, because it enables these companies to professionally design packaging and make samples in their own offices at a price they can afford. The Pirina SM700 Cutting Plotter was designed and successfully tested and certified according to European Union standards by the end of 2006. In the beginning of 2007, the first series machines was produced. The Pirina 3-in-1 Solution for Packaging Design & Samplemaking was created by selecting software by EngView Systems - the Design Library and a special version of EngView Package Designer CAD. With new investment provided by Sea Bond Management (United Kingdom), Pirina Technologies is well positioned to successfully launch the solution worldwide and to expand its manufacturing capacity as well as the product line in the future.
