SML 1000-09 Hits The Market
The new generation plotters of Pirina Technologies, SML 1000-09, is already available on the market. The first models have been already ordered and will be delivered to company clients in Mexico and Brazil in the beginning of September.
Pirina Technologies developed the new generation desktop sample-making plotters for the packaging and printing industries after conducting a detailed study of the market needs and in a response to the recommendations made by the numerous clients of the company.
„The initial customer feedback for the new plotter is excellent, and the company expects to sell some 20 units by the end of the year. After the participation at DRUPA 2008, all 15 plotters of the previous model SM700M have been sold out. We receive feedback from all our clients that the plotters are providing steady high quality produce, and that some have been working on full load for over a year now.
The new model features a number of upgraded functions, which make the machine better suite the needs of the clients. Judging on the received commentaries and the demand, we expect to sell some five plotters a month,” said Nikolay Dimitrov, CEO of Pirina Technologies.
Pirina SML 1000-09 features increased work area and speed, compared to the previous model the plotter features more sophisticated and quieter work process of the toolheads, their settings and servicing have been simplified and also allows the use of a specialized toolhead for Braille system printing on the products. The company has invested in making an up-to-date industrial design, making it suitable for clients with higher demands for the appearance of the equipment, installed in their offices, such as packaging designers.
“Our goal is to provide a maximum functional, easy-to-use and maintain solution, and thus to increase the range of our clients, which will be able to work without limiting their creative imagination,” Nikolay Dimitrov added.
The new plotter has been successfully presented at the Gulf Print exhibition in Dubai. This is the biggest exhibition for the Printing and Packaging industry in the Middle East and North Africa, where exhibitors present their latest products and solutions as well as exchange Know-how with the visitors.
The plotter is to be presented at exhibitions in Toronto, Canada in November 2009 and in Sao Paolo, Brazil in March 2010.
